an interactive murder mystery event

ADELAIDE 2008

A small island nation has literally been blown- apart. Espionage abounds as one country points fingers at another. Protect your country, incriminate another, and try to find out WhoDunnit.

Created for AMUNC08, the Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference. The commission was to create a new work for up to 600 participants, where the organisers would be able to stage and present the entire event themselves. This would be a social evening for the international students attending this conference, and participants may come and go. In addition to the original story, an appropriate format needed to be devised, and highly detailed instructions for all concerned (organisers, on-the-night performers, etc) must be provided. An international espionage scenario (with fictional countries) was devised, and participants divided into large teams, each headed by a dedicated actor. Various printable clues were provided to organisers to further flesh out the story, along with details for every aspect of staging.
